Service Manager (Damp, Mould & Disrepair)

Stonewater is seeking a passionate and experienced Service Manager on an initial 6 month FTC, to lead our national service delivery in tackling damp, mould, and disrepair. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our customers live in safe, healthy homes while embedding our values across all operations.
Key responsibilities:
· Lead the operational delivery of damp, mould, and disrepair cases across the UK.
· Manage surveying and remedial contracts, ensuring compliance with KPIs, budgets, and contract terms.
· Oversee a team of Business Partners and administration support, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
· Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, contractors, local authorities, and environmental teams.
· Provide performance reports, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement.
· Ensure resolution of HHSRS hazards and embed Stonewater’s digital vision into processes.
· Champion Stonewater’s digital vision by embedding innovative processes.
· Support procurement and mobilisation of new supply chain partners.
· Contribute to customer involvement strategies, giving residents a voice in shaping services.
What we’re looking for:
· Proven experience leading multi-disciplined teams across wide geographical areas.
· Strong background in customer-facing services, with the ability to embed values and deliver excellent outcomes.
· Track record of building and sustaining relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
· Experience in performance management systems and digital innovation.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear, impactful reports.
